Promised Land Resort

Located in the heart of the Uintah basin, nestled among the aspens and cottonwoods, lies Promised Land Resort. The Strawberry river gently winds its way through the property, setting the scene in one of Utah's most spectacular resort get-aways. Sheer cliffs, an abundance of wildlife and good old fashioned hospitality have become the hallmarks of Promised Land Resort.

Promised Land Resort offers a unique setting which features nine bedrooms, eight baths, and a fully equipped kitchen, and family sitting area, all surrounded by rustic warmth. And whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, you'll love our riverside patio dining experience with breathtaking views of nature. The memories of your stay will be cherished.

Perfectly nestled in a majestic canyon and encircling mountains, our campground provides a spectacular setting of sheer cliffs, lush green trees and breathtaking scenery. Our campground features 26 riverside hook-ups with water and electrical services, fire pits, picnic tables, grassy meadows, a pavilion and recreational facilities. The necessities include an R.V. dump station, modern restrooms and showers.

While Promised Land Resort has hosted hunters and fishermen, as well as those who simply want to hike or mountain bike, we've really become a favorite for families. The Resort offers the perfect setting for reunions, retreats and get togethers. It seems that there's something special about bringing families together in nature. And between our Lodge, our RV Park, the tent area, and even our two teee-pees, Camelot can accommodate groups from 10 to 300. We even offer special group rates. Contact us today and let us help you plan the perfect reunion.

At Promised Land Resort, the activities are endless. Whether you're looking for miles of hiking and biking paths, or perhaps watching the kids wade in the children's' pond, or tubing the river, nature has provided us with everything your group could ask for. For those who simply need a break, you'll find quiet solitude for reading, meditating, or just reconnecting with nature.

Transversed by three rivers with access to four reservoirs, Camelot adjoins a wilderness preserve of several thousand acres. Within 5 miles is Ashley National Forest. Click here to see our Nature & Wildlife Photo Gallery page.
